Description: | Bricha was a clandestine movement to bring Jews from Eastern and Central Europe to Palestine following the Holocaust. JDC provided support to the migrants as they passed through Czechoslovakia to the American zones in Germany and Austria. These lists document Polish Jews who had reached the border town of Nachod in June-December 1946. Information includes name (rendered in Czech), birthdate, and birthplace. |
